Never Forget

I ask this every year, but I think it's important to remember....where were you when you heard?

It brings me to tears every year. I had the TV on and watched as the second plane hit and when both towers fell. It is something I will never forget.

Such a beautiful reminder of a horribly sad day. I remember exactly where I was, as I'm sure everyone old enough does as well.

I never fully understood my parents, elders talking about how they would never forget what/where they were when an event happened in history.............Unfortunately, I now understand. I will never, ever forget.

A defining moment in a generation. Like Pearl Harbor; like Kennedy & ML King.

I will never forget.

I was out running errands and can distinctly remember being freaked out that we were under attack. I just wanted to get all my kids and go home ad hide in the closet with them.

The worse thing imaginable to me would've been the thought of them scared without me around to comfort them. It put things into perspective.

My husband was in the Coast Guard in DC. It was a tough time for all of us and our military families and friends.
