The Nurturing Parent

In order to foster confidence and self-esteem, it's important to let your child win at simple competitions.

Unless, of course, it's "Just Dance" for Wii on Christmas morning.

In which case you should crush them like a bug.

hahahaha I LOVE the victory jump at the end!! Hope your Christmas was as much fun as that video ♥

Yeah, that little jump at the end was the BOMB! I am a big fan of not "letting" my kids win. Ever! (just kidding!) I did have a hoola-hoop contest with Molly this morning, and had to "take her down". No one messes with my "hoola-hoop" crown!

Merry Christmas! Keep shakin' that bootay in 2010!

Girl, you got it goin' on! Don't ever "let" them win.... or you'll end up with kids like my hubs who HATES to lose.

OMG, you look that the chicks that dance on the Regis and KElly show for that segment! ahaha

Crush you did! It's good for kids to know soul-sucking failure early in their lives. Or something like that.

Nice fake your daughter pulled acting like she was stuck to her sweater when she started getting behind! I love how you totally ignored it and went on with your game...serious competitors know you CANNOT get distracted by falling for silly ploys like fake injuries and such! Way to take the win, Sue! I love the little victory win at the end there. Nice touch.

Now THAT was hilarious!
I simply must know where you got that! Do you have to have a special dance mat to play it with the wii?
Its especially fun if you secretly tape your friends and family while they dance, at least it seems that way!

Too funny! I kicked my family's butt at board games last night. They have to learn you can't always win :-)
