Bear Market, Bear Market what do YOU see?
I see Bank Closures looking at me.

I see Fannie Mae looking at me.

Fannie Mae, Fannie Mae, what do YOU see?
I see Foreclosures looking at me.

Foreclosures, Foreclosures, what do YOU see?
I see Sub Prime Mortgages looking at me.

I see the Community Reinvestment Act looking at me.

CRA, CRA, what do YOU see?
I see Interest Rates looking at me.

Uh..... I see a red bird, a yellow duck, a blue horse, a green frog, a purple cat, a white dog, a black sheep, a gold fish, a teacher and some children......

pretty sure it's the fish's fault.

Hi there,
I just found your blog yesterday and I just wanted to tell you I think you're hilarious!

I just read Brown Bear, Brown Bear to my class today. I think I like this version better.

Today's book in our Financial Fun series was brought to you by the letter R.

Can you say Recession, boys and girls?

How did you know this was my most favorite children's book, as a mom and as a teacher!!

Although I remember a much happier world back when I was a teacher, the story was just a bit different, lol!

At least we all got to fund a really nice spa retreat.

Hurts my rear end a little.

Fish. Bush. Bush. Fish. They sound kind of alike.

there's nothing better than a slap in the face with a children's book!

Have that book (and Polar Bear, Polar Bear) memorized and could recite them in my sleep. Your version is much more entertaining.

That is hilarious!

A tad confused to be honest. Maybe cause I don't have children and this is a reference to a book? But I think I get the point. :-)

Have you had happy hour already today?

I'd like to kick Fannie and Freddie in the knee.

VERY FUNNY!
I wonder if my son would enjoy that version tonight. It could give him nightmares. Thanks for the funny!

I wish that I had this about 2 weeks ago when I was doing that story with my class...your version might have been more educational!

The best thing about my job as a beer/wine/spirits salesman?

People love to drink to celebrate, and they love to drink away their sorrows.

My market is pretty damn consistent.

Now this is why I picked you for one of my five links in the SITS Blogathon today! The consistent hilarity that has taught me not to drink or eat anything while viewing your blog!

As the wife of a financial advisor and the mother of a kindergartener, I found this post especially amusing! Emailing the link to my hubby right now. My kiddo doesn't quite get it yet...

Cheers!

Way to update this to a more appropriate version:)

See Jill run. See Jill run to her stock broker and kick the living dogshit out of him. See Jill get escorted out into a nice police car.

This could be used for gradeschoolers as an introduction to financial FAIL series.

Hahaha.

I should write one using The Giving Tree as a backbone.

It done gave out though.

Very clever! Love it (and am terribly depressed about it at the same time).

Good post!

I think a children's book has about as much chance of fixing things as the goons in Washington and Wall Street! Wanna manage my portfolio? Oh, snap, there's nothing left!

Any of you ladies wanna SEE Moe nekked?

I didn't think so.

Since I'm lazy - i mean, uh, I can't think of anything to post today, yeah, I'm totallylinking to this...

Love it.
