Wow. My brain wasn't ready for that. It's now sitting in the corner and whimpering. It's okay, Brain. Come on out. The bead music has stopped now.

Gold lame? Did you see the chick with the diaper on?? That shit is funny! I miss some Soul Train. It used to come on Saturday mornings, ironically, right after American Bandstand....

God, this reminds me of "Dancin' on Air" out of Philly, circa 1981. I watched it every day after school. It was the "must see" show. I would kill to see video of that again. Googled and came up empty. It's probably best anyway.

ps. The funky flannel guy scared me.

It's 4 AM. I've had a highly stressful, very eventful evening driving the taxi. I decide to read one blog before bed and choose your's. GREAT, now I've got LET IT WHIP stuck in my dreams all night. I remember the newer Soul Train from the late 80's early 90's.

That makes me wish they'd come back and do a "Where are they now--The Soul Train Dancers." Wouldn't you love to see what they wear and look like today and especially how they dance. Funny!

Only those of us who do not have some tucked away in secret are missing it, if you get what I am saying

I think ol boy Don Cornelius was in the news recently--he acted up. Domestic battery charge, I think

You just cant go too long between sightings of strapless, shorts, jumpsuits, can you? What happened to the eighties when boys were really packing some heat?

Ouch ! My eyes! Those outfits bring back such RIDICULOUS memories! And what is with the guy at minute mark 1:03? Stuffed pants? Or am I just seeing things because I was blinded by all of the gold lame and disco shorts?

Aha! Now I know what to wear with my red turtleneck: white shorts that look just like an adult diaper!

Oh holy crap, that was funny to watch! Was that Richard Simmons in the striped shirt or is the resolution on my work computer effed up? And is this where Napolean Dynamite learned his sweet dance moves? Just wondering.
