CRAFT TIME!!! File Under:Projects undertaken solely to make my children happy; having nothing whatsoever to do with me. Or my blog. Start with:
High School Musical 3 life-size cardboard cutout of Zac Efron from Blockbuster.
equals
Flat Joe.
Aww, look how happy she is!!!!!
She can keep him up in her room....
Unless it doesn't really go with her decor...
In which case I'll just keep him it in my office.
Now see, if that were me, even if *I* had been the one who created it...here's how that would ultimately end up.
ReplyDeleteI'd have some reason for heading downstairs in the middle of the night, and upon seeing the life-size cut out and being scared sh!tless, I'd forget it was something I'd created and automatically assume that someone, oddly resembling one of the brother's Jonai had broken into my home. I'd go on the defensive and immediately pummel it, then beat the crap out of it with my rolling pin.
Nice work! I may need to commission you to help me redecorate my beerpong table for Halloween...
ReplyDeleteLMAO! Flat Joe I love it! I'm glad to hear you didn't go to all this work just for your blog, because we love you with or without Flat Joe!
ReplyDeleteHotter than Flat Stanley!?! Not likely!
ReplyDeleteYou've gone above and beyond my friend, FANTASTIC!
That is frickin' great! My three year old and my 11 year old would be equally impressed.
ReplyDeletethis is hysterical!
ReplyDeleteif you bring him to the airport, do you think he'd get an upgrade?
I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter would flip her lid if I made that. I'd be mom of the freaking century!
ReplyDeleteFor the kids, huh?
ReplyDeleteYou are so damn funny!
Damn, I love it! My kids (who I showed this to) thought it was hilarious...but they didnt' ask for one...double damn~ :D
ReplyDeleteUm, yeah, it's in your "office" - right next to your nightstand & bed?
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! And I love how you got him to do your laundry & clean your kitchen too :)
ReplyDeleteI need a Flat Joe!
I can't WAIT to hear your husband's reaction. He's going to be all "Why does Flat Joe have to sleep in our bed tonight??!?"
ReplyDeleteWhere were you back when I was a kid? I could have used a life size Joe myself (different Joe, but whatever)! Who am I kidding...I'd take one now.
ReplyDeleteSo flipping funny!
words don't say how friggin funny you are...the best is the last pic where you are toasting him. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeletecheers.
I can't add much other than you are one creative chick. I want one too.
ReplyDeleteThis has got to be the BEST "I've-gone-to-a-lot-of-damn-trouble" blog post in the history of blogging! I'm gonna be snickering about this one for weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe picture of him with the dish towel made me laugh out loud! How I would have loved to be in Kinkos when you placed that order...
ReplyDeleteYou have way too much time on your hands!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is soo funny! My little sister would LOVE this!
ReplyDeleteYou have outdone yourself. There is nothing else to say...
ReplyDeleteYou are simply amazing.
ReplyDeleteAmazing.
I wonder if I couldn't make myself a Flat Michael Phelps?! Mmmm Something I must consider.
oh, girl...you have some major issues! um...he's like so...pure...sue...what do you have plans to do to him??? does this involve a "kit" of some kind? Or perhaps a "where did I come from" book?
ReplyDeleteOf course then there is a question of where I can do the same for Matthew McConaughey??? Although, I'd be quite happy just watching him walk around the house half naked while vacuuming...simple fantasies....
LMAO Fuck where can I get a giant lifesize poster from. My lover Rob Pattinson would look great right next to my bed. LOL
ReplyDeleteGenius. That's it. Genius. And funny. That's it. Funny Genius.
ReplyDeleteAre you accepting Flat Joe orders at this time?
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!!! I love it! I'm surprised you didn't show us a picture of Joe "resting" on your pillow. :)
ReplyDeleteI had to go back to your posting and confirm that, yes, you are indeed "toasting" Flat Joe. That's my blogger idol. You just ROCK! Miss ya tons!
ReplyDeleteI wonder ... I'd love to have a Flat Pam (Anderson) ... but what would be the point?
ReplyDeleteSo, are you going to send Flat Joe around the world for pics w/all your blog fans?
ReplyDeleteThey still publish TIGER BEAT? I almost didn't recognize it without a picture of Donny Osmond or the Bay City Rollers on the cover.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Funniest yet! Figure out how to do this on a blowup doll and you've got Joe in 3D..imagine the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteSuch a good use of your creativity!
ReplyDeleteI find you just hiarious. I posted about you on my blog today!
Kim
So who is that again?
ReplyDeleteOh dear, he is HOT is he not? Such impure thoughts for a boy that isn't even 21 and I am in my 30s.
ReplyDeleteLove it. You are the coolest mom ever!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy 11-year-old daughter is a Nick Jonas fan, but I must admit that Flat Joe is pretty darn cute.
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! And remember, you only have 662 more days to plan his big birthday party!
ReplyDeleteOh just admit it, you are sleeping with that thing in your bed you weirdo.
ReplyDelete;)
You crack me up. I love how Guard Poodle has that "WTF???" look on his face.
ReplyDeleteYou absolutely made my day! Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteToo funny, is he really all that and a bag of chips? I don't understand the whole HSM thing I guess...sheesh I'm getting old.
ReplyDeleteI love it!! I use to have a life-sized Darth Vadar one back in the day.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! My 2nd grader would be the happiest kid on the planet if Flat Joe was waiting for her too!
ReplyDeleteI found you from 3 Peanuts. And, I just spent way too much time laughing out loud going through some of your older posts! So many great ones!
Anyway, is that a Portugese Water Dog in your pics? If so, I am guessing there are some hilarious moments with he/she too. We have two so I completely understand! I can't imagine a hamster surviving here!
Anyway, thanks for making me laugh today!
Diana
