MWF seeks GMBFF

I need a gay friend.

I am so not kidding.

My life would be so complete - I fantasize about it all the time.

I would listen to his boy problems and he would tell me how fabulous my hair looks. Then we'd shop a bit, stop for an appletini and maybe catch the 7:00 showing of the Time Traveler's Wife.

And he would know who Kate Gosslein is and agree with me that she must've had a tummy tuck cuz no one's belly button is that high up.

Can anyone set me up?

Cuz how badly do I want to hang out with THESE guys:

  2. my sis in law has a gay husband, you know her best friend is a gay guy. at first i was annoyed b/c he would come every where they came. i finally gave in and got to know him and he is awesome and he helps her with everything, while her real hubby is NOT helping her.

  4. LOL. I posted this on my blog earlier this week. I actually do know those guys, went to college with them, and they are a hell of a lot of fun!

  5. That video is HYSTERICAL! My 8yo daughter came running when she heard the song...then wondered if those were friends of her Godfathers (gay married men who will raise her if needed). A gay BFF ROCKS!

  6. I am disappointed in you letting the trip to Boystown go to waste... and still 1/2 curious about which way Manny swings- can you imagine a gay husband that can make a drink like him!!!??

  7. Gay BFFS rock!

And Kate did have a tummy tuck... Some plastic surgeon donated it to her to fix her post-babies belly. (My stepsister LOVED Jon & Kate plus 8, until the implosion of the Gosselin family, so I saw that episode.)

  8. I'm so with you....gay bff's are the best...I had one and he had the gall to move away. There should be a "match.com" for gay bffs.

  9. I used to have one of these too and he was delightful. In fact, I have had more than one--but seem to be short one right now.

    I wonder how that happened

  10. just found out about the maytaggate surrounding your buddy, the dooce. I am astonished you haven't weighed in on the subject.
I mean, really, you have almost half as many twitter followers as she does, right?

  11. Sorry! Wish I could hook you up.

  12. It's so pathetic how you are stereotyping these men. They are people--not stereotypes for you to project your desires onto. Instead of clinging to the stereotype the media presents of a gay best friend, why don't you appreciate people for who they are?

  13. Yay! Thank you, "Anonymous"...I was waiting excitedly for the first buzzkill comment. :)

  14. Sue,
You had to expect some comments!

Looks to me like a group of Friends having a whole lot of fun!

If you are commenting that only gay males have this much fun and only they can talk to women like a "Girl Friend", grow up.

If on the other hand you were commenting that these Friends enjoy life and would be great to hang out with...cool.

To really throw in a buzz kill, are you sure they would want to hang out with you?....Who am I kidding, ya they probably would!

  22. I love my gay boys! They are my favorites, there's nothing like pure honesty from someone you know is not in the least bit attracted to you. I can count on my gay bffs to remind me that I'm putting on some pounds, tell me whether or not those jeans REALLY make my butt look big, general fashion advice and a lot of comfort if things aren't going my way. Plus nothing beats going out to a gay club and all the boys love your outfit and your boobs! It's the greatest high in the world! haha :)

  24. Maybe Kathy Griffin will refer you to some candidates! I will put the call out for you, but, like a great babysitter, most of the chicks I know are VERY POSESSIVE of their GBFFs.

I was so diggin' the vid!

Tena, we were "otherwise occupied" in Boystown, but we do all miss Manny, don't we?

  27. Oh hell. They are some WICKED GOOD lip-synchers.
