Warm & Fuzzy Weekend

Enough with the humor. Let's have a cry.
This is the sweetest, most heartwarm-alicious video. Makes me tear up Every. Single. Time. (and no-he's not going to attack them.;)

Have a great weekend!

  3. OK, seriously, what kind of person does it make me to admit I totally thought he was going to eat them?

  11. Oh my goodness, how ridiculously adorable!

While I was watching it, I was a little nervous that Christian was charging them to bite their face off. What a relief that wasn't the case!

  12. I saw this the other day....it was great! Hubby had me look it up on snoops because he didn't believe it was true. It totally is!

  16. When I first saw this I was like, "is this for real?" then I totally thought he was going to eat them. If you want to know more of the history, go to you tube, put in lion and in the side bar there are like 5 or 6 different 10 minute videos about getting him to africa, letting him go, etc...
It's heartbreaking in a zillion ways!

  17. I can see where everyone though (including me) that the guy was going to be dinner...did you hear about that guy that was studying bears and the last movie he shot he was a mansicle?

Okay i think that was true, but now i'm not sure.

  18. No. Way.

  20. Thanks for sharing that I had never seen it... for a moment I hoped you were lying about the no attack thing, but I guess that was equally gratifying.

  21. Why?....Why do you make me cry?
    It's just so sweet!!!

  22. Such love is so rare. I love how he mushes his face all over them, claiming them again as his won.

  24. Freak me out!
A better cat story than mine, for sure.

  25. The bear story is true...they made a movie about it called Grizzly Man. From IMDB:

"For thirteen consecutive summers, the American Timothy Treadwell moved to Katmai in the Alaskan Peninsula to live among the grizzly bears, with the pretext of studying and protecting them. In 2003, his girlfriend Amie Huguenard and he were surprisingly attacked and eaten by a bear."

Which just goes to show ya, Mother Nature is a twisted ol' gal.

  26. That is crazy!!! Yes, I cried!

  27. that is sweet! I've watched a documentary on Grizzly Man and he was fascinated by the bears, but he didn't raise them- I'll say it again- nurture vs nature.

  41. I'm with the ones who thought it was a joke and those people were going to get mauled. I had the cursor positioned on the "x" button and my hand at the mouse, ready to avoid traumatizing my children forever.

Oh, wait, I've already done that.

  42. I know this comment is on a really old post, but I just found your blog and am reading the archives. That video was just so sweet. I remember watching a documentary about this and I was shocked to see that Christian still remembered them. Makes me tear up every time!
