Dancing With The Stars


Here's my problem with Dancing with the Stars.

Ballroom dancing is already pretty lame. Add a host straight from the Miss America Pageant, D-list celebrities and a "house band" and it's like a perfect storm of Cheesiness. 1972 called: It wants it's variety show back.

Cloris Leachman? Ted McGinley? Susan Lucci? What, Bea Arthur wasn't available?

DWTS producers: Put down the Taco Bell, pick up the phone and book somebody interesting!

Do I have suggestions? Of course I do. You don't even have to pay me a percentage.

    OMG, I am totally seeing the Six Flags Dancin Man. I can all ready see him doing the Quick Step to that song they play on the commercials.

    How about Bathtub Gangsta. He would totally Rock the Ballroom...but he is way too cool for that show.

    i like that show but not so much in the beginning- it's too painful to watch the sucky people! and KIM KARDASHIAN is one of them- good lawd, girlfriend's got all that bootay and can't shake it for shit. FOR SHAME!

    me- HHS thinks Dr. Ray should be on DWTS

    husband- Dr. Ray= No jiggly boobies, that's the only reason I watch.

    me- I thought you watched because of your bromance w/Lance Bass

    husband went outside to mow lawn, chop wood and engage in other manly activities. Thanks HHS, you saved the day again.

    At one of our ballet recitals, one of the older boys dressed as that Six Flags guy for the encore--I'd love to see him on Dancing with the Stars. I am so happy someone else finds the show c-h-e-e-s-e-y!

    Dr. 90210 attends my friend's Mormon "temple"...yes, they really call it that. He dresses just like he does on the show for church. Too funny! The show is kind of "cheesy", but watching those skinny beyotches in those skimpy threads keeps me out of the "cheese bin"! Plus, the Jonas Brothers were on, weren't they? Hellooo?!

    Seriously - I live in a state with a Six Flags and when they were really pushing for business to pick up he/she was on all the time.

    I would watch the show if BTG was on it. He doesn't creep me out and is totally kinda hawt.

    I love Dancing With the Stars. It's entertainment and people are obviously watching. I agree, though, it takes a certain amount of "gusto" to agree to the show - it can be humiliating. I still think it's one of the best "variety shows" on TV!!!

    I feel so out of the loop. I've never even seen DWTS. Maybe I would be interested if they had Eric Bana, Matthew McConaughey, Christian Bale and Rob Thomas. Shirtless, of course. They must dance shirtless.

    Have you ever danced ballroom? I suspect not, or if you did you didn't have a good partner.

    I dance ballroom, well, not every Tuesday and Wednesday mind you, but I really got into it once I learned the dances.

    You should try it, I bet you'll like it!

    I'm liking the Cloris Leachman thing, but I think they should take it a step farther. Combine DWTS with Last Comic Standing. Or Chris Rock. I want to see Chris Rock on Dancing with the stars, and I also want them to do a night of DWTS at the Apollo. Love this show good, bad, and ugly.
